CES 2009 didn’t even begin properly, and Sony Ericsson has already announced two new phones: Sony Ericsson and Sony Ericsson W508.

The first one, Sony Ericsson , is an of ours, as we’ve seen it several times until now, sometimes under the codename Kate.

Presented as the most affordable Cyber-shot phone to date, the is a good looking candybar that brings a new SE feature, namely Smile Shutter. This is a “ that detects a person’s smile and immediately takes the photo.”

Said new feature will also be embedded into the 8MP C905, by means of software upgrade.

Back to the , though. Unfortunately, Sony Ericsson’s official website doesn’t have high-res images with it for the moment, so this picture is all we have:

There will be three versions of the handset: Sony Ericsson (with GSM and HSDPA 2100 connectivity), Sony Ericsson (with GSM and 850/1900/2100 HSDPA connectivity) and Sony Ericsson C510c (with tri band 900/1800/1900 GSM connectivity only).

All three of them will be available starting this quarter, in two : Radiation Silver and Future Black. A price was not given yet, but it won’t be on the expensive side, that’s for sure.
