AT&T announces 4 QWERTY feature phones

AT&T today announced four phones to appeal to the texting generation, if there is such thing. We knew about the Matrix, Propel and Quickfire. Slate, on the other hand was a surprise, or at least we’ve missed it.
Anyway, the four devices announced are:
Pantech Matrix – slide-out keyboard equipped device will available in navy blue and black with green starting from October 16th. Features include 1.3 megapixel camera, IM client, as well as compatibility with such AT&T’s services as Mobile Email, AT&T Navigator, AT&T Mobile Music, CV, AT&T Video Share. Price is set to $79.99 with a two-year contract.
Samsung Propel – “square slider” which instead of a regular numeric keypad packs a full slide QWERTY keyboard. Supported services include Mobile Email, AT&T Navigator, CV, AT&T Video Share calling, AT&T Mobile Music. There’s also a 1.3 megapixel camera on board. It will be available blue, green, red, and white with red in “late October” for $79.99 with a two-year contract.
Pantech Slate – touted as the “world’s thinnest device with a full QWERTY keypad,” the Pantech Slate will sell for $49.99 (again) with a two-year agreement. A candybar-shaped device packs a 1.3 megapixel camera and will be available in black with royal blue during “late October.”
AT&T Quickfire – full slide-out keyboard and a touchscreen is a novelty in a feature phone. It’s also a 3G enabled device, allowing users to “do their mobile thing” in both portrait and landscape mode. AT&T will start selling the Quickfire in November, when interested users will be able to pick it up in orange, lime and silver for $99.99 with a contract.
