What makes this new mobile phone in Sony Ericsson’s Cybershot series is the fact that it is the company’s first mobile phone to have the Smile Shutter technology, an intelligent technology which detects a person’s smile first before taking a shot.

The Sony Ericsson Cybershot is a beautifully designed mobile phone in a compact classic form factor and comes in a very affordable price. The features a 3.2 megapixel camera which features some great functionality that you normally find in mid-range digital cameras aside from the smile shutter technology. These features include that can focus 3 faces at a time, auto-rotation for switching between landscape and , pre-installed application that allows users to send photos to SnapFish for quality photo printing, quick access to YouTube, SMS for viewing SMS conversation history, slide in lens and auto focus.

Other features of the Sony Ericsson include picture and video blogging functionality, video recording, media player, Access NetFron web browser with web and photo feeds, speakerphone, , vibrating alert, video calling, email/MMS/SMS messaging, navigation key, auto rotate, 3D games, FM Radio, video streaming/viewing, Bluetooth connectivity, PC Synchronization, USB mass based services such as geo tagging and Google Maps.

Specs wise, the Sony Ericsson Cybershot definitely has a lot to boot as well including, a 2.2-inch TFT scratch-resistant main screen, 100 MB internal memory, support, 10 hours talk time, and 400 hours standby time and more.

The Cyber-shot supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and UMTS/HSPA 850/1900/2100. It is slated to be released anytime this first quarter and will be available in Black and Sivler Classic design.
