The SGH-M310 has Bluetooth, an FM radio and a WAP browser, plus Java and MP3 ringtones. There’s a VGA resolution camera and the M310 has up to 3 hours talktime and a maximum of 12 days standby time. It has quad-band GSM support as well.
The price is unconfirmed, but probably around €90 / £70 SIM Free, and much cheaper when bought as part of a pay-as-you-go package. Expect to see the M310 in mid summer.
Despite a few cosmetic improvements, there’s no getting away from the fact that these are pretty basic handsets. But if you’re looking for an inexpensive, good looking clamshell phone then the M310 and B300 might be just the things to interest you. One step above the B300 is the M310. Again, the hardware specification is a bit of a blast from the past, but Samsung have tried to inject a bit of style into proceedings. The display is a 1.7″ 128 x 160 pixel panel with a smaller 1″ external display.
