New all Black Nokia N96 announced and available to pre-order!

The Black Nokia N96 is a phone that’s smart and fun. Given a new all black exterior (compared to the black and silver colour scheme of the original), the N96 still houses the same high end features including a superb 2.8 inch display, 16GB of internal memory capable of storing thousands of tracks and hours of video and the unique dual slide design. The Black N96 also sports a 5.0 Megapixel camera with flash and video recording, plus all the extra little features like face, smile, blink detection etc. Now the N96 doesn’t just do photos and video playback, it includes everything from accessing YouTube videos with the phone’s mobile browser to actually watching the weeks TV with the BBC catch up service BBC iPlayer so you need never miss your favourite shows again.
The newly designed Nokia N96 Black smart phone, part of the illustrious N-Series is a quad-band phone with dual-band HSDPA support for worldwide coverage. It runs on S60 3rd edition, FP2 and has a TFT display with 16M colours and weighs in at 126g, which is a little bulky however it is lighter than some of its main competitors such as the Samsung i8510 or the LG Renoir.
It comes with 3G HSDPA capabilities for ultra fast browsing and download speeds, Bluetooth 2.0, high-speed USB sharing functions, WLAN Wi-Fi technology for wireless internet connections. Also at the innovative end of the spectrum is it’s highly advanced GPS features including Maps 2.0 software which allows for viewing satellite map images, receiving voice instructions for driving and working in pedestrian mode so that you can always get to where you want to be and never have to worry about being lost again (as long as you keep
it fully charged).
