Nokia announced that two of their Symbian S60 smartphones, N79 and N85, have started selling through retail channels in the United States, including the Nokia Flagship stores in New York and Chicago. Both devices are sold unlocked and both come with proper bands (850 and 1900 MHz) to sing along AT&T’s 3G network. In addition, the N85 also supports European 3G networks (2100 MHz), and is therefore “perfect for a holiday break abroad,” or at least Nokia says so.
I won’t go on talking about any of the two models – you can read more about them from our earlier article, posted when the two devices were initially announced. I’ll only add that each one of the devices have “ample storage space included inbox” — the N79 comes with a 4GB microSD card and the N85 with a 8GB microSD card.
The Nokia N85 is available for an estimated retail price of $539, while the Nokia N79 could be yours for $439.
