Barcode scanning available with Google Product Search for Android

After the application is installed, do the following:
Go back to Product Search in your browser and tap on the ‘Scan Barcode’ button again. Select “Use by default for this action” and tap on the Barcode Scanner option. After the app opens, center the red line over the barcode and hold the phone steady. When the barcode is read successfully, you’ll see a Google Product Search results page back in the browser.
The barcode scanner can also be accessed directly from the Product Search results page.
Google says that the application works best when used for stuff like electronics, movies, video games and books.
For the moment, Google Product Search with Barcode Scanner is available only via Android smartphones used in the US and the UK.
