Sony Ericsson announces range of Bluetooth watches for women

Who says women can’t be geeks, too? Sony Ericsson knows that, hence they’ve announced the first Bluetooth watches for women.
Convenient, good looking and distinctive, the Bluetooth MBW-200 range of Bluetooth watches is an expansion of the highly successful Bluetooth MBW-150 range. With three different sophisticated designs to match your personality, be the first among your friends to control your phone with your watch.
All three watches were made in partnership with Fossil and all feature a small screen that informs ladies of incoming calls (caller ID) and/or text messages. In addition, the whole watch vibrates when someone’s calling or there’s a new SMS. Finally, ladies can reject or mute calls, and even control their music (play, pause, stop or skip) directly from their watch, without having to pull out a phone out of purse.
As we’ve mentioned, the Bluetooth MBW-200 is available in three variants. For each one the Swedish-Japanese handset maker found a perfect model to promote it:
* The Sparkling Allure Edition, as modelled by 19-year-old Slovakian Dominika Cibulkova, is glamorous, yet strong and sporty.
* The Contemporary Elegance Edition, as modelled by 18-year-old Danish “Princess of Tennis” Caroline Wozniacki, is perfect for the young professional who wants to stay focused on the job at the same time as staying connected.
* The Evening Classic Edition, adorning 19-year-old Hungarian superstar Agnes Szavay, has a classic yet casual profile. The stylish leather strap and discreet black face can be worn in any environment.
The MBW-200 range is made out of allergy-safe stainless steel and will be available in selected markets in Q4 2008.

Palm Centro Battery Charger Review

Centronauts can finally rejoice in the fact that a terrific new – ultralight, ultrasmall and thus ultra-portable – Palm Centro Battery Charger has been released to power their spare batttery while on the go.
As with the existing Palm Treo Battery Charger (see my review), the Centro Battery Charger in my opinion offers one of the very best accessories to have been designed by Palm. Not only is the battery charger ultracompact (barely larger than the actual Centro battery) but it also doubles as a convenient carrying case for your spare battery by simply folding the protective cover.
Adding to the convenience and overall minimalist elegance of the design is the fact that you can use the standard Palm Centro power tips (found on the Wall Charger and Car Charger for example) to charge your spare battery. Unfortunately, Palm did not also include a USB charging cable in this kit – something which I would have liked to charge my battery via a spare USB port at my PC.
Finally, for some reason Palm has chosen (for now at least) to make this Centro Battery Charger available exclusively bundled with a spare Centro battery and not yet available on its own. While this will be ideal (great value considering that the battery alone is $29.99) for people who do not yet have the benefit of a spare battery it will nonetheless leave those who like me already do have one scratching their heads and venting a little frustration.
Having said this, overall the fact remains that the Palm Centro Battery Charger is an absolutely terrific accessory that offers great value and has the added benefit of being the smallest, lightest and most compact battery charger that you’re likely to find anywhere – particularly recommended if like me you’re always on the go.

Samsung E250 is a wonderful phone; it performs its functions as mobile phone without any trouble. It s capabilities are excellent for a low-priced phone. Despite the fact that it’s been in the market for some time now, its elegance and style is still incomparable with many newer models. The Samsung E250 is a Samsung phone meant for the youth to love. It is generally a 2G Network connected phone with a GSM 900/1800/1900. Samsung released the phone in October 2006 and it is still available in the market today. This phone is quite durable but rough hands still need to take a little precaution since it is quite small and thin and very prone to drops because of its smooth finish.
The E250 has dimensions of 99.5 mm by 49.5 mm by 14.1 mm and it weighs only at 80 grams. It is a TFT (Thin Film Transistor) phone and it displays 65k of colors, which is actually its biggest disadvantage. It could show up to 128 by 160 pixels or 32 mm by 40 mm. It is a polyphonic phone with 64 channels and it could also store in MP3 songs for you to listen to. It has a memory card slot for a microSD and it has a 10 MB shared memory, which is a good thing as it allows fast processing of data in the phone so it doesn’t experience hang ups. It has a phonebook memory which could hold up to 1000 phone numbers and you could even identify them with a pictures when they call or text you. It could record 30 missed calls, 30 received calls and 30 dialed numbers in its call records. With its class 10 GPRS system, internet connectivity on the phone runs at around 32 to 48 kbps, and it can also be used as a modem with its EDGE (Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution) capability. Data transfer and sharing is made easier with its USB and Bluetooth version 2.0 with A2DP. Its batteries could last 250 hours in stand-by time and up to 5 hours in talk time.
Aside from the Samsung E250’s style and beauty, you could make sure that this mobile phone is really worth your money. The Samsung E250 is the very first sliding phone that Samsung made and since it is the first, Samsung made sure that you would get the most on this slim phone. Like any basic phone, it could send short messages also known as the SMS, and it sends and receives multimedia through multimedia messaging. It could also send EMS and you could connect it in the internet to send or read your emails. Its browser, like the older models, is the WAP 2.0/xHTML so whether you previously owned an Ericsson, a Nokia or a Motorola, you would find it easy to manage Samsung E250’s browser. It already has a couple of pre-installed games, and you can also download from the internet if you want more. It has a Java MIDP 2.0 so it would be easier and faster for you to download games and other programs for your computer.
If you are into style and fashion, then you will be happy to know that this phone comes in two colors – black and silver. Aside from its MP3 player, the media player is also compatible with AAC or AAC+ file types. If you ever felt bored with your music, or if ever you haven’t been able to transfer your favorite songs on the then the Samsung E250’s FM radio would just perk your phone up. It has a T9 text input, which is really helpful when you are texting. It has an organizer to help you fix up your schedule. It has a built in hands free feature so you wouldn’t need a headset when you are listening to your music or to the radio. Its greatest feature is probably the voice memo which enables you to record events and appointments using voice command.
Of course, like any gadget out on the market today, the Samsung E250 is no perfect technology. For one, a lot of users have complained about the phone’s battery life. Despite the fact that it’s supposed to last for 5 hours some users say it just dies out, even if you aren’t using it. But other than that, they said that the phone is terrific.
